How we use your offerings:

The undesignated money you give to the church goes into our General Operating Budget (voted on by the church members each year), unless you chose to give to a particular fund.

Out of our general operating budget we give 5% to our state (Southern Baptist Conservatives of Virginia, AKA the “SBCV”) and 5% to the national convention (The Southern Baptist Convention). These organizations help with things like disater relief, training seminary students, community outreach, church planting and revitilization, among many other things.

We also give additional money through special annual offerings to the International Missions Board (Lottie Moon Christmas Offering), the North American Mission Board (Anne Armstrong Easter Offering), and to our state association the SBCV (Vision Virginia).
